Aurélie Wen is an entrepreneur who is passionate about open innovation.
In 2017, she moved to Montreal, where she founded Agorize Canada following two years as head of marketing at Agorize in Paris.
Her startup offers a platform for online hackathons and innovation challenges, putting big businesses in touch with innovators from all over the world.
Aurélie won the award for the best pitch in French at Startupfest 2018 as well as the Bronfman foundation emerging entrepreneur award at C2 Montreal 2018.
She is regularly invited to talk about women in tech, entrepreneurship, diversity and inclusion, and hackathons at international conferences such as Microsoft Ignite and HRTech Summit in Toronto, Crowdsourcing Week in Washington (DC), and European Innovation Day in San Francisco, as well as at the LesAffaires conference, SocialHRCamp, and #TRU in Montreal.
Currently a team of 8 people in Montreal and Toronto, Agorize Canada has organized around twenty hackathons and challenges with organizations such as the National Bank, TD Insurance, Radio-Canada/CBC, Loto-Québec, Desjardins, Microsoft, Capgemini, the US Department of Education, Automation Anywhere and Bank of the West (BNP Paribas Group).
