A member investor, Stéphane Pilette has been Vice-President of Investment Support at Anges Québec since September 2013. He also manages Ange Québec’s Healthcare and Life Sciences sector since 2012.

Stéphane has a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering (1991) and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering (1998) from École Polytechnique de Montréal. In 2013, he also obtained an MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) from the University of Sherbrooke.

A successful entrepreneur and investor, Stéphane has over 15 years of experience in technological development of products with several companies and diverse markets. In 2007, with three partners, he co-founded Vimedix, where he was Vice-President of Operations. This specialized company in medical solutions for ultrasound imagining was sold to CAE Healthcare three years later.

Among Stéphane Pilette’s other professional commitments, he acts as coach for life sciences businesses for the Accélérateur en Création d’Entreprises Technologique (ACET). He is also Chairman of the Board of Handyem and Gullivert Technologies in Quebec City, and he is an independent director on the board of C2MI, the Miqro Innovatve Collaboration Centre in Bromont.
