Registration

You can select your ticket and register here for Startupfest 2023 or through our Eventbrite page.

All tickets are in CAD$ and include all fees and taxes. Tickets are non-refundable, non-shareable, and only transferable up to one week before the event.

We encourage active startups, investors, and accredited media to register for Startupfest!

Startup tickets are recommended for founders and employees of young startups (less than 5 years in the making) in, but not limited to, technology and innovation industries.

Startups are NOT a large corporation, a government, a mentor, or a service provider.

Both ticket packages include the same festival experience, however, you will be classified as ‘Startup’ or ‘Other’ which can have an impact on your networking or matchmaking activities.

The ticket packages are priced differently because our event is dedicated to startups, so we do our best to make the “Startup” ticket as low as possible. We ask investors, partners, and service providers to purchase the “All Others” package to help keep Startupfest affordable for startups.

About Startupfest

Startupfest is Canada’s original startup event. We run conferences and competitions for startups, and offer many opportunities for learnings, investments, visibility and networking with all stakeholders in the startup community.

Embrase is a small, all-Canadian team who is glad to bring Startupfest to life every year. We are event organizers and technologists behind some of the world’s most influential technology events, like Scaletech, Elevator World Tour, FWD50, Startupfest, and more!

There are many ways to get involved in this year’s festival:

Become a volunteer: We’re always looking for great people to help us ahead and during the event itself. Whether it’s with registration, logistics, speaker management, marketing—there are many opportunities up for grabs.

Support the operations: Want to help us make Startupfest 2023 the best it can? We are always looking to partner with organizations that care to deliver value to the Startup ecosystem.

Become a sponsor of the event: Startupfest is a “big tent” event—we want many voices from the startup community across the world to be involved. If you’d like to support us financially or if you have a great collaboration idea, we want to hear from you.

Help promote the event: Become a community partner by helping us get the word out about Startupfest 2023.

Please contact us and let us know how you want to get involved, and we’ll follow up with more details!

The Event

Startupfest 2023 is back, in-person from July 12-14th in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Register now to reserve your spot!

We recommend casual and comfortable clothes.
Startupfest takes place during Montreal summers, where temperatures and humidity can soar. We suggest keeping it casual; shorts, jeans, and T-shirts. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and to avoid wearing heels. Expect it to be a bit cooler at night so we recommend bringing a sweater or an extra layer.
Make sure to check out the weather forecast: rain or shine, Startupfest is on!

If you’d like to volunteer at Startupfest 2023, send us a message and we’ll add you to the list.

There are many options to promote your company or products at Startupfest!

Show off your product or service with a Demo Table:
Demo tables are situated in the Tent Village. The table is a 24” round surface, and includes electricity and wifi on a “best effort” basis. Purchase a demo table when registering for Startupfest 2023.

Become a Tent Champion in our Tent Village:
At Startupfest, the Tent Village is one of the most unique, and attractive aspects of the entire event. Contact us to to become a Tent Champion.
NOTE: Tents start at $25,000, or with the commitment of 25 tickets.

Partner with us or sponsor Startupfest:
Send us a message to learn more about becoming a partner or sponsor at Startupfest.

If you’d like to be considered as a Mentor for our 2023 event, please fill out this form. We will let all applicants know whether or not they have been selected in the Spring.

This summer’s program will not be as heavy on the speaker content as in previous years. Our goal is to create meaningful connections in the startup ecosystem through networking opportunities. As a result, we are not looking for additional speakers at this time.

A range of organizations run their own startup-related events during the week, lending a “festival” vibe to Montréal.
